The classic "Martis" bracelet with a modern makeover looks like a tiny weaved eye for extra luck.
Martis is a bracelet that we wear in Greece as a custom. We traditionally wear it on the 1st of March, and is believed to protect us either from weather associated viruses (like a cold) since the weather is unstable on March or generally helps to " not to be burned by the sun " or "be given the evil eye". Symbolically the white and red color are often found in superstition when we prevent something bad. This is mentioned also by many ancient Greek writers.
